Film strip cutter - particularly for polyimide film as substrate for semiconductor thermo elements

Cutting appts. for a thin film, pref. plastic, supported on a stationary substrate, comprises at least one cutting knife supported in a holder which can be moved at a predetermined distance from two mutually parallel guide shafts extending in the direction of cutting and parallel to the surface of the film. The holder has at least one roller which moves on the foil along the cutting direction and is elastically attached in direction vertical to the direction of movement. The knife is at an angle of 5-25 degrees esp. 10 degrees w.r.t. the film.
