PURPOSE:To obtain a 2-color copy with one kind of developer without using a complicated copier, by making a copy using a developer containing a leuco dye, its color developer, a pigment or a dye except for black, and decoloring the copy using a decoloring agent. CONSTITUTION:A dye, such as crystal violet lactone for use in a dye color developing type heat sensitive recording paper, the developer of this dye, such as bisphenol A, and a pigment or a dye except for black are contained in a developer, i.e., toner, and a copy is formed using this toner with an electrophotographic copier. An aq. soln. containing poyethylene glycol or diethylene glycol, plastic plasticizer, or the like is coated on the desired parts of the copy to decolor the developed leuco dye, thus permitting the color of the pigment or the dye to be developed on the decolored parts, and therefore a 2-color image having the colors of the leuco dye and the pigment or the other dye to be obtained. For example, a 2-color image of black and another color is obtained by coating the decoloring agent on the necessary parts of the black image obtained by the leuco dye and the other pigment and discoloring it to the other color except black. |
