The pump comprises an electromagnetic plunger(1) which is coupled to a delivery plunger(6) maintained in pressing engagement with each other in a balanced state by means of a restoring spring(10) & an aux. spring(9). The spring constants of these spring are selected such that the distance (lb) between the magnetically neutral point of an electromagnetic coil(21) & an aux. spring(9). The spring constants of these springs are selected such that the distance (la) between an end of the electromagnetic plunger & an annular magnetic pole(4) have a relationship 0.1 < la/lb < 1. The delivery press. shows a reduction in value when the electromagnetic plunger is moved toward the annular magnetic pole & the sum of deflections of two springs is increased.
