<p>A particulate surfacing (10) has a conditioning system for conditioning the surface, and means for recycling liquid passing through particulate material (11,12) of the surfacing, said conditioning system comprising a reservoir (15) for liquid, adjacent the surfacing, means (22) to cause a surge of liquid to propagate from the reservoir (15) across and through the surfacing (10), said recycling means including the reservoir (15), and catchment means (14) disposed to receive liquid passing through the particulate material (11,12) of the surfacing (10) and to permit the liquid received thereby to pass into the reservoir (15).</p> |
