PURPOSE:To make it possible to stop, run and drive a running unit in any direction by the intention of an operator and ensure the safety of the operator, by means of two push-button switches provided in the running unit for sensing the yarn breakage state of the respective spindles in a spinning frame while running in the vicinity of the spinning frame and a means for sensing the arrival of the running unit at the end. CONSTITUTION:Push-button switches 231 and 232 are provided respectively on one side and the other side of the running direction of a running unit 200 for sensing the yarn breakage state of the respective many spindles 131 while running in the vicinity of a spinning frame 100 having the spindles 131 side by side. The running unit 200 is stopped by pressing both push-button switches 231 and 232 at the first time, and then moved in the direction opposite to the transfer by pressing the switches at the second time. For transferring the running unit 200 in the same direction, the push button switch is pressed on the side opposite to the first time. Terminal marks 141 and 142 are provided on both terminals of the spinning frame 100 to make the sensing by sensing apparatuses 251 and 252 of the running unit 200 possible.
