PURPOSE:To perform a condensing action efficiently, by a method wherein one side of the internal surface of a closed container corresponding to a heat-receiving part is formed as a heat-transmitting surface having a minute structure, while the other side is formed as a smooth surface, so that a high heat-transmitting performance is obtained. CONSTITUTION:When a heat pipe 1 is rotated with its axis 1a as a center, a working medium 2 placed at the bottom part phi in a evaporating part 2 is distributed to the entire circumference while being held by the minute structure 4, and is evaporated from the entire circumference under the heat supplied from the exterior. The vapor of the medium is moved from the evaporating part 2 to a condensing part 3, and is cooled from the exterior to condense into a liquid, which is adhered to the internal wall of the part 3. Since the condensing part 3 has the smooth surface, the condensed liquid rapidly flows down to the bottom part without being held onto the wall surface. Accordingly, there is no resistance of a liquid film, and the condensing action is performed efficiently. |
