PURPOSE:To adjust the car height automatically in accordance with the running condition by putting the tank chamber and pressure chamber in communication with the pump and throttle valve. CONSTITUTION:A pressure chamber S1 is furnished between the upper mounting member 4 and spring receptacle 8, where the oil amount in the chamber shall determine the level of mounting the spring receptacle 8. This pressure chamber S1 is connected with the pump chamber S2 and oil tank 7 through a check valve 20 and throttle valve 13, respectively. When a full buckling has occurred owing to some unfavorable conditions of the road surface, the pump chamber S2 is operated through a bump rubber 16 to send oil into the pressure chamber S1. Thereby the overall length of unit and the car height become higher. Because the oil in the pressure chamber flows out through throttle valve, the car height is reduced into the normal value when occurrences of the full buckling become less frequent. |
