1. Combined ski boot and binding for cross-country skiing, of the semiautomatic slip-on type, comprising : - a boot (3) whose front end (2) has a T-shaped part (5) of which the axial bar extends longitudinally towards the front of the boot ; - a body (11) fixed to the ski (4) and provided with a T-shaped slot (12) the transverse part of which is perpendicular to the axis of the ski and which is intended to receive the transverse bar (7) of the T-shaped part (5) placed at the front of the boot (3) ; - a pin (27, 28, 29) sliding in the body (11) and intended to retain or to release the T-shaped part fixed at the front of the boot (3) in the corresponding T-shaped slot (12) in the body ; - a spring (18, 19) connected to the body (11) and intended to push the pin (27) back to its position closing the slot (12) ; characterised : - in that the T-shaped slot (12) in the body (11) is directed in depth in the vertical direction and leads out both onto the upper face of the body (11) and axially to the foot of the T facing the end (2) of the boot (3) for the passage of the longitudinal bar (6) of the T-shaped part (5) and for its free vertical pivoting about the horizontal axis of its crossbar (7) ; - in that the pin (27) is displaced parallel to the axis of the ski (4) across the transverse part of the slot (12) ; - in that the spring (19) is connected to an operating member (21, 31) effecting the longitudinal sliding of the pin (27) from the retaining position to the position liberating the T-shaped part (5) against the action of the spring ; - and in that the pin (27) is provided with means effecting its automatic withdrawal to the open position of the transverse slot in the body (11) under pressure from the crossbar (7) of the T-shaped part (5).
