PURPOSE:To improve the performance of a valve to shut off a fluid passage, by press fitting a guide bush and a seat ring serving as a valve seat into a circular through-hole formed in a bonnet which is threaded into a valve body, and forming a plug at the top of a valve shaft which is associated with the guide bush and the seat ring. CONSTITUTION:Thread is cut in the inner peripheral surface of an inner chamber 15 formed in a valve body 11 and a bonnet 18 is threaded into the inner chamber 15. A guide bush 23 is fitted at an intermediate part of a through-hole 20 formed in the bonnet 18 in the manner of extending through the central part thereof, while a seat ring 21 is press fitted to the lower end of the through- hole 20. A valve shaft 28 is inserted into the through-hole 20 in the manner that it is freely movable in the vertical direction and is associated with the guide bush 23 and the seat ring 21. Further, a plug 29 is formed at the lower end of the valve shaft 28 so that it can brought into and out of engagement with the seat ring 21 to function as a valve by opening and closing a fluid passage. |
