PURPOSE:To inform traimmen of the optimum information correctly as occasion demands by displaying either rough or fine indication or both simultaneously in a conductor's room at needs. CONSTITUTION:An instrument panel 10 is provided with rough indicators 12 and 14 consisting of a liquid crystal meter 12 and a speaker 14 and a fine indicator 16 consisting of a CRT display 16. This CRT16 displays the rough indicators 12 and 14 and/or the functions selected by preset display instructions finely. When a check system is illustrated at engine start, the liquid crystal meter 12 displays all items of a fault monitor simultaneously with the ignition switch on. On the other hand, the CRT16 searches the fault monitor, diagnosis system, and maintenance memory sequentially by a preset period of time simultaneously with the ignition switch on. Besides, the spearker 14 synchronizes with the CRT16 and notifies a driver of generation of faulty locations, sounding electronic alarms, while he or she is using the fault monitor or maintenance memory. |
