PURPOSE:To form a structural body stuck with granular refractories effective for relining of furnace walls on the inner side of the furnace wall by flaring the tubular leading end part fitted onto a guiding bar body which is inserted through the opening of the shell in the worn part of the furnace wall and is held there like petals by said bar. CONSTITUTION:The shell 1 in the worn part of a furnace wall is opened. If refractories 2 remain and there is a refractory wall 20, these are opened as well. A guiding bar body 5 is inserted into the furnace and an outward bending means 6 at the leading end thereof is held at the prescribed depth in the furnace by means of a supporting stand 7 or the like. A tubular body 8 provided with an arbitrary number of axial slits in the leading end part is fitted onto the body 5. When said body is forced into the furance by means of a cylinder device 10 or the like, the body 8 is bent outward from the tips thereof and is opened like petals. For example, if two tubular bodies 81, 82 are used, a stuck structural body 101 of two steps is formed in the furnace. |
