1341739 Heating hair-rollers BRISTOLMYERS CO 5 May 1971 [5 May 1970] 13217/71 Heading A4V An apparatus for heating hair-rollers, of the type comprising a casing 1 having a lid 2 and including a liquid-evaporating chamber 5 from which vapour can escape into a condensation chamber C in which are located studs 4 for supporting the hair-rollers, is characterized in that the lid 2 is provided with a plurality of downwardly-directed projections 8 each arranged directly above one of the studs so that the condensate will drip back on to the rollers. The chamber 5 is heated by an electric element (not shown) and the vapour (i.e. steam) passes through a perforated panel 6 forming the floor of the chamber C. As shown, the projections are pyramidal, but they may be conical, frustoconical, or frusto-pyramidal. The outer surface of the lid may be provided with cooling ribs or fins. |
