发明名称 COATING METHOD FOR CATALYST CARRIER WITH HIGH-TEMPERATURE CALCINED ALUMINA FILM
摘要 PURPOSE:To improve the adhesive strength of an alumina film to a carrier by coating the alumina slurry of alumina sol and alumina powder calcined at high temp. on a catalyst then calcining the same. CONSTITUTION:Alumina powder calcined at high temp. is added to an alumina sol soln. stabilized with an acid such as nitric acid or hydrochloric acid, whereby alumina slurry is prepd. After a catalyst carrier is dipped in the slurry, the carrier is pulled up, whereby the catalyst is coated with said soln. Thereafter the carrier is calcined at <=1,000 deg.C. Since the resultant high temp. calcined alumina film coating has high adhesive strength of the alumina film to the carrier, said coating provides durability and since the calcining temp. is low, the cost is reduced.
