PURPOSE:To enable to easily construct an ocean structure having deep sea legs, by a method wherein a partial leg is inserted through from the under-side of a working platform to mount it to the working platform, and a following partial leg inserted from the under-side of the platform in a similar manner is connected to the lower end of the preceding partial leg. CONSTITUTION:At least 3 partial legs with spud tank, provided with the spud tank at its lower end, are erected in a dock 1, and a working platform 8 is installed on the partial leg 3 through the medium of jack 7. A partial leg 11 is then inserted through a jack unit 9 from the under side of the working platform 8, it pierces the working platform 8 and is raised, and the upper end of the following partial leg 11 is coupled to the lower end of the preceding partial leg 11. After the works are repeated in order, the leg 3 with spud tank as replaced with a stay 13 one by one for removal, and the removed partial leg 3 is connected to the lower end of the lowermost partial leg 11 mounted to the working platform 8 to form a leg with a given length. |
