PURPOSE:To construct an ocean structure having a deep sea leg with a necessary lengthm by a method wherein a partial leg inserted from an under side of a working platform supported by a framework passes through and emerges upward from the working platform, and the preceding partial legs are joined, in order, to the following partial legs. CONSTITUTION:A framework 2 is built in a dry dock 1, and a working platform 2 is constructed on the frame work. A partial leg 5 is inserted through a jack unit 4 from the under side of the working platform 3, it pierces the working platform 3 and is raised, and the lower end of the preceding partial leg 5 is joined to the upper end of the following partial leg 5 by welding. The insertion of the partial leg 5 into the under-side of the working platform is such that the partial leg 5 is placed on a truck 6 which freely moves in the dock 1 and the truck 6 is moved. |
