<p>PURPOSE:To prevent carburetters arranged between cylinders of a V-shaped internal combustion engine from collision with each other by connecting carburetters in one body via a common suction box. CONSTITUTION:The first and the second carburetter C1 and C2 are respectively provided with suction trunks 61 and 62 with suction passages 51 and 52 inside, and neighboring suction trunks 61 and 62 are adjacent to each other. A crossing point P of borh suction trunks 61 and 62 is deviated from the center of each suction trunk to the entrance side of the suction trunk. This construction allows to obtain a comparatively wide space 7 between suction trunks under the crossing point, and in this space 7, float chambers 81 and 82 are arranged. Crossing parts of suction trunks 61 and 62 are constructed of air horns 91 and 92 made of elastic materials such as rubber or the like, and these air horns 91 and 92 are contained in a common suction box 10 extended in parallel with a crank shaft 2 to be an almost triangular pillar. Consequently, all carburetters are connected in one body via the suction box 10 and prevented from collision.</p> |
