PURPOSE:To shorten the waiting time required until switching to a facsimile terminal is performed when a transmitter completes dial operation, by performing the confirmation of telephone number information, which is dialed by a transmitter and to which multiple address is sent, in parallel with the reception of message information. CONSTITUTION:A transmitter A dials a calling telephone number from a telephone set 1 after dialing a discriminating number for communicating facsimile multiple address. Then, a switchboard 7 searches the switchboard 8 of the called person B and sends the telephone number through a line 18. The switchboard 8 checks whether the called number is stored in a subscriber file 10 and answers the result to the switchboard 7. The switchboard 7 confirms the answer and connects the subscriber line 15 with a facsimile processing device 11, and then, sends the call information to the transmitter. When the button of a terminal 3 is depressed, a message is stored in a message file 13. To the called person B, the call information is transferred from the device 11 to the device 12 through a digital line 17. The transferred information is stored in another message file 14. |
