PURPOSE:To output continuous picture signals, by alternately obtaining output voltages corresponding to the amount of optical electric charge of the 1st and 2nd accumulating areas under accumulated condition by the 1st and 2nd output transistors coupled with both the accumulating areas, and by combining the output voltages. CONSTITUTION:At the end section of each of the 1st and 2nd transfer element rows 2 and 3, the 1st and 2nd accumulating areas 5 and 6 composed of diffusion areas are installed separately from each other. To the 1st accumulating area 5, the gate of the 1st output transistor f1 and the drain of the 1st reset transistor g1 are connected, and, in the same way, the 2nd output transistor f2 and the 2nd reset transistor g2 are connected with the 2nd accumulating area 6. A clock pulse phi1 which is used to drive the element rows 2 and 3 is impressed upon the gate of the reset transistor g1, and another clock pulse phi2 is impressed upon the gate of the reset transistor g2. Sources of the reset transistors g1 and g2 are connected with a constant voltage source VRD. |
