PROCESS:The compound of formulaIcan be prepared by reacting the 1-halogenoethylbenzene of formula III (X is Cl or Br) with 3,3,3-trifluoropropylbenzene of formula II obtained by the reaction of benzene with 3,3,3-trifluoropropene, in the presence of an acid catalyst such as ferric chloride at 0-100 deg.C. |
