PURPOSE:To attain smooth control of a reactive power, by applying an ignition output pulse of a controller to respective thyristors. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of series circuits consisting of series reactor L1 and L2, capacitors C1 and C2, and thyristors SCR1 and SCR2, and a circuit connecting a thyristor to a reactor L3 of an equal reactance as each capacitive reactance, are connected between phases of a single or three-phase power supply. Further, forecast signals of load VOLTAGE V, load current I and a load are given to a controller CONT and a trigger output pulse of the controller CONT is applied to the thyristors SCR1-SCR3 to control the reactor L3 and the capacitors C1 and C2 with the thyristors SCR1-SCR3. |
