PURPOSE:To prevent heat accumulating material from deteriorating and as well as improve the safety of the heat accumulator by a structure wherein a part of the wall of the heat accumulator using inorganic hydrate type heat accumulating material is made of a substance pervious to gas, but not to moisture. CONSTITUTION:A semipermeable part 1 pervious to air, but not to steam, is formed on a part of the wall 2 of the heat accumulator. Owing to the structure as described above, even when the volumetric expansion of the heat accumulating material 3 at the fusion of the heat accumulating material 3, the pressure rise of steam generated at the liquefaction of the heat accumulating material 3 and the thermal expansion of the air within the accumulator at the heating of the heat accumulating material 3 occur, the internal and external pressure of the accumulator are uniformalized because the air passes the wall 2 of the accumulator through said semipermeable part 1 formed on the wall 2. On the other hand, because the steam is retained in the accumulator, the moisture within the accumulator is held constant throughout the repetition of heat accumulation and heat release, resulting in enabling to prevent the heat accumulating material 3 from deteriorating. In such a manner as mentioned above, the prevention of the deterioration of heat accumulating material and the improvement of the safety of the heat accumulator are contrived. |
