PURPOSE:To perform adequate straightening by providing a flange draft roller, which has a cushion roller interposed internally, at the side of a web draft roller, and thus applying an adequate draft force to a flange while following up variation in the size of shape steel. CONSTITUTION:At both ends of a sleeve 2 set at the side of a web draft roller 3, draft rollers 11 having an external diameter large enough to contact the end surfaces of shape steel flanges 8 are pivotally equipped by interposing cushion rollers 12 internally. Even when the large-width part of each flange 8 of shape steel contacts the draft roller 11 to allow strong draft force to operate on the roller 12, the cushion roller 12 contracts to suppress a draft load on the flange end surface within a specified range. On the other hand, the cushion roller 12 contracts to allow the web draft roller 3 to contact a web 7 without separation, and thus the draft load is applied to the web 7 to distribute the draft load equally to the flange 8 and web 7. |
