PURPOSE:To improve the stability of speed by storing the error characteristic of an encoder beforehand in a memory or the like and by compensating a speed signal from the encoder with this error characteristic. CONSTITUTION:An error in preparation, fitting or the like of an encoder is stored in a memory 8 at every position where a speed signal (b) is generated. A pulse is generated from an encoder and wave-shaping circuit 7' by using as a position signal (c), for instance, the position where an initial speed signal of the encoder is generated, and thereby the start of an address is prescribed. An error signal from a phase comparing circuit 5 is given to a difference circuit 9, while a signal obtained by reading the error characteristic of the encoder which is stored in the memory of a memory and address circuit 8 by using as addresses a position signal (c) and a reference signal (a) from the encoder and wave-shaping circuit 7' is given to the difference circuit 9. The difference between the above two signals being regarded as a true fluctuation of the speed, the stabilization of the speed of rotation of a motor 3 is performed through the intermediary of a controlling-driving circuit 6. |
