PURPOSE:To perform discrimination suitable for the characteristics of a circuit by permitting a digitized received signal to act upon a discrimination function updated by the past signal. CONSTITUTION:A received signal inputted from an input terminal 100 is converted by an A/D converter 101 into a digital signal, which is inputted to an L-stage shift register 102. Its output corresponds to L samples of the signal and is suppli ed to a next address generator 103. The address generator 103 outputs the output pattern of the shift register 102 as it is to specify some of addresses of N units of storage circuits 104. Those N units of storage circuits 104 operate as a discri mination function and their output are supplied to a detector 105. The detector 105 selects a storage circuit with a maximum output among those storage circuits and a symbol which corresponds to the storage circuit is outputted from an output terminal 107. On the basis of a decision result, the address generator 103 and storage circuits 104 are updated. |
