PURPOSE:To suppress the space and cost by operating the tool cramp mechanism, furnished at the side end of the spindle, through utilization of revilving motion of the tool replacement arm and thereby eliminating provision of any cylinder solely used for tool cramping. CONSTITUTION:In order to set or remove a tool fitting part 11 on/from the tool driving spindle 7 by the use of a tool replacement arm 6, a lock shaft 20, which can move in the direction perpendicular to the axis of the spindle 7 and be put in engagement separably with the fitting part 11 of a tool 4, and a swing piece 21, which moves this lock shaft 20 axially forward and backward, are furnished at the side of the foremost part of spindle on which the tool fitting part 11 is fitted. This swing piece 21 is turned following the revolving motion of the arm 6 at the time of tool replacement actuated by an engagement pin 25 provided on the tool replacement arm 6, and this turn will move the abovementioned lock shaft 20 axially forward and backward. Thus the tool fitting part 11 is set or removed on/from the spindle 7. |
