PURPOSE:To obtain a stable recording image of high quality by varying to increase the head between a head section and the liquid surface level of an ink tank at the using time as compared with the head at non-using time by control means for controlling the head. CONSTITUTION:Magnetic ink 13 is sucked from an ink tank 14 via a supply magnet 12, is supplied to a raising magnet 10, and is supplied through an oblique surface to a multistylus 9. Since the styluses 9 are magnetized by the magnet, projections projected at the tops of the styluses are formed. At this time, the liquid surface difference between the ends and a tank 14 is H1, and a recording is performed in this state. When the recording is perfected, the tank 14 is raised by tank elevational moving means 18, thereby reducing the difference H2. The quantity of the ink supplied to the ends of the ink 13 is increased, the projections of the ends of the styluses 9 are eliminated, thereby becoming the state immersing the styluses 9. Accordingly, even if the ink is evaporated at non- recording time, new ink 13 is supplied to reduce the concentration of the ink to the degree which is no problem in practical use. |
