PURPOSE:To maintain a fused part stably for long period and to measure in high accuracy, by fusion finding a platinum wire of a platinum electrode to a glass tube and adhere and fix said part with epoxy resin then, smoothly polishing the surface. CONSTITUTION:A platinum wire 1 is fusion bound to a soft glass tube 2 having thermal expansion coefficient near that of the wire 1 and an epoxy resin 9 is applied to the lower side of a fused part and is solidified. Next, a platinum electrode 3 is made by polishing smoothly the surface of solidified part. The electrode 3 and a silver-silver chloride electrode form an anode by winding a silver wire 4 round on the circumference of the electrode 3 and immersing it in a silver chloride solution 7, are put in an electrode supporting device 5 binding a gas permeable diaphragm (fluorine-containing resin film) 8 by a fastening band 6 and a diaphragm convering electrode for measuring O2 in blood is made. The dissatisfactoriness of insulation by cracking the fused part of the wire 1 and the tube 2, is prevented by the resin 9 and highly accurate measured value is obtained stably for a long period. |
