PURPOSE:To increase a life of cork friction materials, by applying liquid lubricant, contained in the inside of a cork forming member, with an affinity for cork smaller than an affinity of lubricant applied to a friction surface of the cork forming member. CONSTITUTION:A life of cork friction materials depends on a multiplied product effect of internal liquid lubricant and surface lubricant, and the internal liquid lubricant, contained in the cork friction material, is gradually infiltrated into a surface lubricant layer, applied to a surface of the cork friction material, while in use of said material, to perform action of holding lubrication of a cork surface. The surface lubricant of an affinity to cork larger than of the internal liquid lubricant, contained in the cork, is applied, and the surface lubricant is intruded into a rugged part of cork, then the internal liquid lubricant, contained in the cork, can be prevented from excessive leakage, thus appropriate supply of the internal liquid lubricant to the surface lubricant layer can be performed. |
