PRODUCTION OF METAL-RESIN MATERIAL

PURPOSE:To produce a title material of high accuracy with less energy by adding metallic soap powder which is an auxiliary raw material to the powder of main raw materials consisting of metal or alloy powder and molding the powdery mixture under pressure then impregnating into pores in a resin produced after removing said auxiliary material and allowing the resin to set. CONSTITUTION:Raw material powder is constituted of the powder of the main raw materials consisting of metal or alloy powder or the powder mixture thereof or the inorg. material added in a moldable range to said powder and the powder of an auxiliary raw material consisting of the metallic soap added to the powder of the main raw materials as a lubricant. Said powder of the raw materials is packed in dies and is molded under pressure. The moldings are heated to about 400 deg.C to remove the metallic soap approximately. After a resin is impregnated into the resulted pores in the moldings, the resin is allowed to set.
