<p>Rotor for a rotary cutting machine is fitted with a series of very short knives rather than a conventional single knife blade of length equal to that of the rotor. The knives are reversible, i.e. they may be removed from their milled slots in the rotor and replaced after turning through 180 deg. and are held in place by two screws in slots with parallel sides and semi-circular ends. Used for cutting and chipping applications.</p> |
