<p>The stand is for both open and closed hearths and the integral water circulation ducts are pear shaped on the outside with channel sections on the lower parts, while the interior of the ducts are ribbed to assist heat exchange. Water is fed through the stand direct to a central heating system using radiators. The stand receives heat from the burning fuel supported on top of it and from the burnt ash that collects below it, the outside heat being transmitted to the water in the hollow central core.</p> |
