PURPOSE:To reutilize a molten slag of converter as a solvent of a blast furnace or a converter, by charging the molten slag of converter into a vessel together with a specific quantity of a carburization material and a fluxing agent, blowing gaseous oxygen, and reducing and decreasing P2O3 contained in the molten slag of converter. CONSTITUTION:In a vessel 1 provided with a double ply-pipe tuyere consisting of an inside pipe 4 and an outside pipe 5 on the bottom part, a molten metal 2 is put, and on said molten metal, a molten waste slag 3 from a converter is charged together with a carburization material, and a fluxing agent such as fluorite, manganese ore, etc. From the inside pipe 4 of the double ply-pipe tuyere, and the outisde pipe 5, gaseous oxygen and hydrocarbon for protecting the tuyere are blown in, respectively. The oxygen reacts with C in molten iron to convert to CO, agitates the molten metal 2 and the molten slag 3 violently, also, P2O5 in the molten slag 3 is reduced to P by a carbon material, and is absorbed into the molten metal 2. Accordingly, since P2O5 content in the molten slag 3 of converter is decreased, it can be reutilize as a solvent for a blast furnace or a converter by solidifying and crushing it. |
