Fish bite warning indicator for fishing line - uses line clamp in series with switch to actuate indicator or radio transmitter for remote reception on pocket receiver

A plastics body located adjacent to a fishing rod is provided a head assembly on which a fishing line clamp is attached to operate an electrical circuit. An on-off switch is used to close the electrical circuit through the clamp from a battery on a support within the body. When the line is pulled from the clamp by a fish bite a lamp provides indication through an illuminated section of the body. An electronic siren is activated and its output can be coupled to a loudspeaker or to a radio transmitter. The transmitter output is received on a mobile pocket receiver.
