<p>PURPOSE:To perform high-speed high-loaded anaerobic treatment of organic substance-contg. waste liquid, by stopping agitation in a fermenting vat holding solid matter, to which bacteria can adhere and which can be fluidized in agitating liquid, after completion of gas formation, so that the bacterium bodies are precipitated. CONSTITUTION:A fixed amount of raw orgnic waste liquid 1 is supplied to a semibatch-type catalytic digestion vessel 2 by a charging pump 6 which is ON- OFF controlled by a sequence controller 5 driven by connection with a formed gas amount recorder 4 or by timer setting. The raw waste liquid, while being agitated and fluidized by an agitator 7, comes in contact with anaerobic bacteria to decompose the organic substance. At the time when gasification of the charged organic substance is virtually completed, the operation of the agitator 7 is stopped, and the catalytic digestion vessel 2 is changed into a quietly-held sedimentation vessel to that flock-forming anaerobes and anaerobes adherent to and propagating on bacteria-adherent particles 9 are precipitated together with the particles 9 to form an effluent.</p> |
