PURPOSE:To easily manufacture deformed steel sheet piles having a high strength by a method in which parts are set in a deformed shape, a lower hole is drilled in the place to be fitted with rivets, the lower hole is plug-welded for integral connection, a hold of a larger diameter than the lower hole is drilled, and then the parts are fixed by rivets. CONSTITUTION:Steel sheet piles 1 and 2 and auxiliary steel materials 3 and 4 are set, and a lower hole 6 is formed in the place where a rivet or bolt is to be attached by drilling it to a depth as much as 1/2 of the thickness of the auxiliary steel material 4. Then, the lower hole 6 portion is plug-welded to integrally join the steel sheet piles 1 and 2 with the auxiliary steel materials 3 and 4. Then, a main hole 7 of a larger diameter than the lower hole 6 is drilled in the plug-welded portion and they are joined by rivets 5 or bolts. |
