<p>In the roof-light with wing-frame construction, elastic means are provided between the frame (1) and the first wing (2), which comprise a link rod (49) mounted pivotably on a pin (50) fixed on the outer face of an upright of the first wing (2) and the other end (52) of which is articulated to the end of a rod (53) to which is fixed, at an intermediate point (54), one end of a tension spring (55), the other end (56) of which is fixed on the inner face of the adjacent upright of the frame (1). A stop (58) is fixed on the said upright of the frame (1) below the point of connection between the spring (55) and the rod (53). The spring (55) presses the rod (53) against the stop (58). The materials of the rod (53) and of the stop (58) are such that the stop (58) acts like a brake. The point of attachment (56) of the spring (55) to the upright of the frame (1) is sufficiently high to draw the link rod (49) back against the rabbet of the upright of the first wing (2).
