The present invention provides a specimen test slide comprising a specimen-receiving sheet (1) carrying guiac sandwiched between a front and rear panel (2) and (3) in which the slide can be opened to the front (4, 5, 6) to expose a guaiac-carrying part of the sheet and to the rear (11), to expose the rear of that part of the sheet exposed to the front, and having 2,6-di-tert-butyl-p-cresol (7) on at least part of the inner surface of that part of the slide overlying to the front or to the rear of the part of the sheet which is exposed. |
