PURPOSE:To manufacture a reproducing stylus with a long life easily, by projecting a laser to the stylus and its reflected light on a projecting plane with a known angle to a light axis of the laser light and aligning the stylus and a cantilever based on the position of the projected point. CONSTITUTION:A reproducing stylus 1 on a fixed stand is irradiated with laser light 16, and when the reflected light from an electrode 4 is projected to a point 4xa on a projected plane 13, an alpha angle adjusting mechanism of a goniometer is adjusted to move the point 4xa to a point 4xb, so that the projected point can be produced on a plane orthogonal to two projected planes 13 and 14, be in parallel with a straight line P caused with a virtual plane through a hole Ox orthogonal to the projected plane and be produced on a line Pa through a specified point 4x. Further, a gamma angle adjusting mechanism is adjusted to move the point 4xb to the point 4x. A projecting point 6ya on the plane 14 of the reflected light from a back plane 6 is moved to a specified point 6y through the adjustment of a beta angle adjusting mechanism. Thus, the adjustments are completed. Since the angles alpha, beta, and gamma are all zero, the stylus is provided for a long life. |
