PURPOSE:To obtain a simple device of dustproof type having high S/N by using a resin which shields visible light and allows transmission of emitted light in molding a housing case provided with a cavity between two parts contg. both of a photodetector and a light emitting element and molding the same in hermetic constitution. CONSTITUTION:A housing case 1 provided with a cavity in the two parts contg. both of a photodetector 3 and a light emitting element 2 is molded of a resin which allows the transmission of infrared light of, for example, about >=700nm wavelength and shields visible light and the parts contg. both elements 2, 3 are constituted hermetically. The photodetecting surface of the photodetector 3 and the light emitting surface of the element 2 are opposed to the resin of the case 1 through the cavity. Thus the elimination of visible light noise and the influence of dust is made possible without degrading the sensitivity of both elements 2, 3. |
