PURPOSE:To improve the landing state of electron beam by using different exposure apparatuses for the northern and southern semispheres. CONSTITUTION:A panel position adjusting and transferring mechanism 50 consists of the followings: the panel position adjusting and transferring cam 51 which is formed to the curvature which is obtained by adding the coefficient in consideration of the bow- shaped curve 401 to the single coefficient which is used in exposure of each color of red, green, and blue, for example, the cam 51 which is formed nearly flat for red 51R, a little gentle convex surface for green 51G, and convex surface steeper than on green 51G for blue 51B, when a color picture tube is used in the northern semisphere, the ball 52 which slides on the flat and curved surfaces, the supporting arm 55 which is shifted in the direction of arrow 54 by an air cylinder 53, and the spring which is urged under pressure onto the flat and curved surfaces of the cam 51. When the picture tube is used in the southern semisphere, the cam is formed to the curvature which is obtained by adding the bow-shaped curve 402 to the single coefficient by forming the surface nearly straight line for blue 61B, a little gentle concaved surface for green 61G, and the concaved surface deeper than on green 61G for red 61R. The landing error can be corrected in that district. |
