PURPOSE:To continually obtain an operative condition of minimum rate of fuel consumption, by calculating the rate of fuel consumption in three conditions of different speed change ratio through a switch control and correcting the actual speed change ratio so that the speed change ratio obtains the minimum value of the calculated rate of fuel consumption. CONSTITUTION:A target speed change ratio arithmetic part 210 calculates target speed change ratio on the basis of a throttle opening signal 114 from a throttle valve opening arithmetic part 110 and an engine speed signal 42 from an engine speed sensor 40. The target speed change ratio 145 is input to a speed change ratio correcting part 230. In the speed change ratio correcting part 230, the target speed change ratio 145 is corrected on the basis of a signal 551 from a speed change ratio correction value memory part 550. |
