<p>PURPOSE:To manufacture products, finish thereof is excellent, by applying a liquid permeating a rubber not vulcanized onto a base material for a weather strip, into which a mandrel is buried and which is made of the rubber not vulcanized, and vulcanizing and foaming the base material. CONSTITUTION:The rubber not vulcanized is extruded onto the mandrel 2 by means of an extruder 31, and a weather strip material 1a not vulcanized is formed. The liquid (such as toluene) 8 permeating the rubber is applied onto the surface of the rubber not vulcanized by means of an applying roll 33. The material is vulcanized in a vulcanizer 35, the outer surfaces 3a, 5a of the weather strip 1b are foamed in predetermined thickness, and the foamed layer is shaped. Lastly, the weather strip 1 is molded through bending and molding by means of bender rolls 37.</p> |
