PURPOSE:To obtain a device which permits sure detection and is not vulnerable to breakage by floating logs, etc. in measuring the height of a flexible film weir by measuring the surface position of the film weir continuously by the use of a turning arm and a contact roller. CONSTITUTION:A belt-like rubber sheet is folded in two and the folded side edge is stuck to a riverbed surface 3, whereby an airtight and flexible bag-like rubber weir 1 is constituted. Air is supplied into said weir, whereby the height of the rubber weir is adjusted. A horizontal arm member 7 is fixed and supported like a cantilever in the top end part of a stanchion 6 erected turnably in the prescribed position on a dike 4, and a detector 9 for the surface position of the rubber weir is disposed to the leading end thereof. Said detector consists of a measuring rod 10 which is freely movable upward and downward in a vertical direction, and a contact roller 11 in the bottom end part thereof, and measures the weir height in accordance with the upward and downward displacement of the rods. If the stanchion is turned and is stopped in a suitable position, the max. position of the rubber weir is obtained. |
