An arrangement for separating water vapour in the water circulation circuit in a hot water boiler equipped with an expansion vessel and fired by e.g. fossil fuel, comprises overflow pipes between the boiler's collection boxes for the convection packages, and the expansion vessel. The lifting power in water of the steam formed is utilized, and the steam is allowed to rise freely to the overflow pipes. The highest point in the respective overflow pipe is situated a distance higher than the water level in the expansion vessel, said distance equalling or exceeding the dimensioned pressure drop of the water flow of the boiler, calculated from the upper collection box of the convection package or the second section to the expansion vessel, as measured in metres of column of water. <IMAGE> |
