PURPOSE:To supply electrolyte in a short time by installing the first concave for electrolyte reservoir in circumference of the upper surface of a gas separating plate, and installing the second concave for electrolyte reservoir in the center of the lower surface, which passes through the first concave for electrolyte reservoir vir a passing-through hole. CONSTITUTION:An anode plate and a cathode plate 2,3 which are separated with an electrolyte matrix 1 are stacked with a carbon gas separating plate 6 which forms a hydrogen supply groove 4 in its one side and an air supply groove in other side in the direction crossing each other, to form a cell pile. The first concave for electrolyte reservoir is set in parallel to the hydrogen supply groove 4 in the gas separating plate 6, and in the center of its back, the second concave for electrolyte reservoir 9 is set in parallel to the air supply groove, which passes through the first concave for electrolyte reservoir vir a passing-through hole 8. Therefore, since an electrolyte is supplied to the second concave for electrolyte reservoir via the passing-through hole 8 from the first concave for electrolyte reservoir, and penetrates from both surfaces of the matrix 1, electrolyte supply time is decreased and recover of cell voltage is accelerated. |
