PURPOSE:To prevent both generation of black smoke when fully loaded at high temperature of the outside air and reduction of generated torque at low temperature of the outside air, by correcting a maximum quantity of fuel injection to increase at low intake temperature while decrease at high intake temperature. CONSTITUTION:Signals of each sensor 66, 62, 65 of intake temperature Tha, engine speed Ne, accelerator depression amount Accp, intake pressure Pm are fetched to an electronic controller 39, and a basic injection quantity Qbase then a maximum quantity of injection Qfull, at no supercharge time, are obtained, then a supercharge correction coefficient k2 is obtained from intake pressure Pm to calculate a maximum injection quantity Q'full at supercharge time. Successively, a temperature correction coefficiency k3 is read by a memory map from the intake temperature Tha and multiplied to the Q'full, and a maximum injection quantity Q''full is decreased as the intake temperature rises. then a final injection quantity is obtained with Qbase if Qbase<Q''full, while Q''full if Qbase> Q''full, and the maximum injection quantity is controlled through a driver circuit 86 and spill ring operating device 40. |
