PURPOSE:To reduce the load at the center and to simplify the program, by editing and processing function codes with a buffer controlling means on a terminal controller when the function codes bridge over a plurality of line blocks. CONSTITUTION:Line block data from a main memory 11 is received at a terminal controller 14 for editing and processing. In this editing processing, when a function code in a line block data bridges over a plurality of terminals A-C, the data is read out one by one block via a CPU 13 from the memory 11 and given to an editing buffer 110 of the controller 14, and the function code is stored in unedited buffer 16. Under the control of a buffer controlling section 15, the function code is transferred to an editing buffer 110 for edition and processing together with the data. The load at the CPU 13 can be reduced and the program can be simplified. |
