<p>Cement raw material is mixed, in suitable ratios, with lime, or with lime and water mixt. Slurry or powder mixt. is converted to coarser particles, in known plant, for clinkering in furnace unit. Pref. particle strength is improved by exposing them to waste gases before clinkering. Process has the following advantages: clinkering with lower heat-consumption; preheating using smaller installation with higher calorific efficiency; improved clinker quality and reduced atmospheric pollution.</p> |
