PURPOSE:To obtain a uniform toner layer by providing the titled device with a rotary roller to be a member for regulating the thickness of the toner layer and a member for removing toner from the roller. CONSTITUTION:A developing belt 30 is rotated by a pair of rollers 31a, 31b, a hopper 32 is arranged on the upper part of a belt 30 and toner is stored in a hopper 32. The conductive rotary roller 33 for regulating the layer thickness of toner and acting as an electrode is arranged on the toner outlet side of the hopper 32. A blade 34 for continuously removing toner stuck to the periphery of the roller 33 is arranged so as to be pressed against the surface of the roller 33. Said constitution makes it possible to uniform the layer thickness of the toner layer. |
