PURPOSE:To obtain a heat-developable copying material capable of forming a sharp image freed of background fog due to excellent raw storage stability, and superior in low temperature developability, by providing a photosensitive layer containing a diazo compound, a coupling component, a hydrophobic heat-meltable substance having 50-150 deg.C m.p., and an epoxy compound having at least one epoxy group. CONSTITUTION:Raw storage stability is enhanced by use of a combination of a heat-meltable material, and heat color developing reaction is also accelerated to permit low temp. heat development. Any heat-meltable material that, in a molten state, can sufficiently melt both of a diazo compound and a coupling component serves as said heat-meltable material, and stearamide, behenanilide, etc. are used. Any of epoxide compounds, high or low in molecular weight, can be used, and alkyl-ethylene oxide, epoxy resin, etc. ae embodied. These are dissolved or dispersed in water together with other components and coated. |
